The next recipe is one of my absolute favorites. It's so easy and such a favorite with my boys, plus the lemon really comes through in the flavor! Enjoy!
Pork Chops + Apples + Green Beans
6 tablespoons olive oil, divided
3-5 Drops of Lemon Young Living Essential Oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
4 cloves garlic, grated or pasted
Salt and pepper
4 bone-in pork chops (each 1-inch thick)
1 12-ounce bag trimmed green beans or haricots verts
Preheat Oven to 475 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix mix 3 tablespoons olive oil, the lemon juice, basil, and garlic; season with salt and pepper. Add the pork chops and turn to coat.
Slice apples into small pieces and set to the side. On a large, rimmed baking sheet, toss the green beans, the apples (sliced) with the remaining 3 tablespoons of olive oil, season, and lemon essential oil. Spread in an even layer. Nestle the pork chops among the veggies and apples. Roast for 25 minutes.
