The holidays are filled with gifts, gifts, and more gifts...I have never been a huge fan of making gifts simply because they take time, effort, and creativity. Plus, it has to be something that you know will be a hit! With so many amazing sites like Etsy now, I've defaulted over the years to buying from someone who can hand make, probably do a better job than me, and ensure it's a gift done on time for a good price. When searching for a handful of gifts to give to clients and friends this year I was amazed to find several options using essential oils that all hit my marks for homemade holiday gifts. As a yoga teacher, I love giving all natural gifts that are from the heart and a part of a self-care wellness routine. Here's a very simple how to on making an Epsom salt Lavender Foot Scrub that's sure to leave friends and family soaking with bliss....It hits the price marker just right as well around $4 if bought in bulk, plus leaves you with some amazing lavender to diffuse or apply to dry skin this winter as a bonus. Supplies: (I bought 1/2 Pint Mason Jars from Target, Ribbon (any craft store) this was in the sale bin from Michael's, EVOO, Epsom Salt (unscented), Castile Soap, and Young Living Lavender Essential Oil). Make and Mix: Put in a large bowl to mix ingredients Measure 1 cup Epsom Salt 1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) 1 1/2 tsp Castile Soap 7 Drops of Young Living Lavender Essential Oil (comes in the Premium Starter Kit).
