Peppermint Fresh Fruit Salad This is such a tasty treat that is perfect for summer. Bring it to a BBQ, mix and take to work, or you can eat it as an afternoon snack. I made this for my 100% paleo father-in-law a few weeks ago and, "he said what am I eating?" I replied, "A few drops of Peppermint essential oil from Young Living to flavor your salad." His response was, "it tastes great." If you know my father-in-law these compliments don't come easily, so I knew it was a guaranteed hit! Enjoy! Ingredients: (strawberries, blueberries, grapes, fresh mint leaves) Optional: Add arugula and avocado if doing a larger salad or eating as a meal Mix together and add a drop of peppermint. Yum. Recipe #1 Add 2-3 Drops of Young Living lavender oil to your olive oil or coconut oil before grilling or roasting vegetables. My favorite choice of veggies is asparagus, zucchini, and yellow onion. (These are listed on the Week One Grocery List). Cut veggies, place in a ziplock bag (I find gallon size works best), add a pinch of sea salt, a few sprinkles of dill, and a dash of pepper. Add 2-3 drops of Young Living lavender oil and enjoy! This is a summer favorite you can place on the grill or if it's raining you can heat the oven to 375 degrees, place on a baking sheet, and slide in the oven for 25 minutes. Cook your favorite meat of choice and serve!
